How to remove the "Login" link from the homepage?

Hello,

I want to remove the "Login" link that's part of the main navigation. So I went into the site.master and removed the following entry:

<li><a runat="server" id="aLogin" /></li>

However, when I saved it it blew up the entire design. This is what I end up when I do it: http://min.us/lkCtmE

Originally, I assumed that it might be an issue because of the theme I was using but I tried to do it on the Standard design included with BlogEngine and had the same exact issue.  Doing a search yielded a couple other posts asking the same question:

Anyone have any info/suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Your theme probably references this "aLogin" element in the code behind. For example, in standard theme.master.cs there is a code like:

aLogin.InnerText = Resources.labels.logoff;
aLogin.HRef = Utils.RelativeWebRoot + "Account/login.aspx?logoff";
You need to remove all references to "aLogin" to get rid of that error.
