EMail the blogengine and post the content of the email

I'd like to see if there are any options to email the blogengine (i know it sounds hokey).  I have an event log that fires out emails whenever there is an alert and i would like it to automatically post to the engine.

Seem farfetched?  It'll end up saving me tons of time in double entry.

Thanks for any insight!

What is your "Event Log" ?   According to what you are saying above I guessing you are

having an Log That sends out email.  But, you want it  to post to BE for instead of Sending emails is this correct?

Or Do you want to include BE in the mailing list for your email alerts?

Have the Event log send normal emails, plus send an email to BE to then be converted to a Post?

Blogger and WordPress have the Email To Post Feature

Would be a nice feature to add to BlogEngine

I want to include BE in the email list and covert email to post.

I will check the content you sent along.

Thanks for your reply!

I also wanted this functionality, similar to how Wordpress and others will post from an email.  So I built a web application to do this.  You can find it at http://blogbyemail.com.

Thank you.
