Xml vs Database data provider

When is it best to use the Xml data provider or a database?

If you have under 100 posts (or/and) pages  go with XML

Over that it starts to slow down.

 Also the number of (Hits/Visits) has an effect too.  If you get over 100 hits at the same time all the time then Database would be better.

 But, if you get about 50 or less hits at the same time xml is good.

 Test out a xml run site vs a SQL  make sure they are using the same version of BE through.

One day I will set up two sites using everything the same but have  one DataBase and one XML

so people in the future can truely see the differences and also going to load test it to provide proven results

and not theory.
