BlogEngine.NET 2.5 in "non virtual directory" subfolder

Hi all.

I'm trying to integrate BE 2.5 into an existing website (already configured as a VirtualDirectory).

To do that need to install BE 2.5 into a sub-foder of my already existing VirtualDirectory.
Unfortunately I cannot set the newly created sub-folder as a VirtualDirectory.
So I should move all files but Web.config, robots.txt, Global.asax, etc, that I think I shound merge with existing files.

Is BlogEngine meant to be used the way I described? Is there any documentation about this?

Thank you in advance! Nicola.

Installing in virtual sub-directory is easy, sub-folder is another matter. You'll need to cover few extra things, for example take a look at this post. It is on BE 1.6 but for your task probably there is no difference.

Thank you for your response, Rtur.

Yes! I followed the way indicated by Morten in his blog.

I'm almost done! It's actually not immediate...

Thank you very much again. Nicola.
