Hi Guys,

I found this extension for BE to help with URL rewriting... however it's for a previous version.

http://www.seoasp.net/post/2008/08/05/URL-Rewriting-Extension-For-BlogEngine.aspx

I looked a the version upgrade notes for BE here:

http://blogengine.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Upgrading%20to%20BlogEngine.NET%202.0

blogengine.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Upgrading to BlogEngine.NET 2.5

and made the changes to the code to use BlogEngine.Core.Web.Extensions as described in the 2.0 upgrade notes.

I dropped the 2 files into the Extensions folder as per the instructions, and although the Extension shows up in the list of Enabled Extensions, it doesn't show up in the list on the right side of the page, so there is no way to configure the extension.

Has anyone successfully installed this on BE 2.5? Or does anyone know what I'm missing to get it to install properly?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

The extension is not generating the xml data file.

Know how to fix that?
