I'm trying to customise the newsletter.html template in my themes folder. I can see that certain variables have keywords, e.g. [TITLE], [httpBase] and [LINK_DESCRIPTION]. Is there a list somewhere that details all the available options?

Heres the list:

Its in the Newsletter Widget source code.

Here's an example of a modified newsletter template:

Thanks, kbdavis. I've reduced the template down to 'bare bones', but the [LINK_DESCRIPTION] isn't working. This is the full code of newsletter.html:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">
<html xmlns="">
	<title> Blog: [TITLE]</title>
New post:<br />
<div style="font-size:70%; margin-top:24px;">[UNSUBSCRIBE]</div>

The content of the emails is just "New post:" but nothing more.

I note also that you have an [UNSUBSCRIBE] field, which I thought might be a standard variable, but apparently not. I'm assuming you've just modified the Newsletter Widget source code to replace this with your unsubscribe code, right?

PS What I'm trying to achieve is a simple, two-line email that says:

New post:
This is the new post title (linked to the post URL)

You must have your Description filled out for your Post.

Look at this screen shot:

Also I found out it takes Html tags too.

So if you put  <b> Hello</b> in the description field

in your email it will be bold.

Just FYI

Note also that you have an [UNSUBSCRIBE] field,

Its not standard yet. But, its a future feature I am going to add.  Currently its not working.

Just sign up for our newsletter at:

Once I make that feature working I will post it there as a download.

So you will receive an email when its ready :)

Have a Great Day!
