Post Hits property in core library ?

Nov 29, 2011 at 4:51 PM

BlogEngine.Net desparately  requires PostHits (or similar) property built inside its core class.I wonder , why there has not been any thoughts in this direction. That would help create Most Popular items , Hot Item ,Random Popular and similar interesting stuff. The problem with the current widget based (xml) stuffs is that they are slow and disk space hungry and not synchronized with actual storage location (parent less child).

Is there any chance of that in future versions ?

Most rely on google analytics which also have API that make possible to pull "most popular" etc, although I did not used those myself. But yes, there are plans to have light-weigh statistics module built-in. Mostly for use by dashboard, but could as well be used to provide stats for widgets and alike.
