Version 1.4 with SQL Server 2000

I'm having trouble with the install and the upgrade scripts in SQL Server 2000. Both cause errors, mainly with the varbinary(max) which is new in SQL Server 2005, as far as I know. I don't know enough to edit it, but is anyone else trying to get SQL 2000 to work and having problems?

I know a script was released for 1.3 that worked, so maybe a new one will come along for 1.4.

Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Mike

in the script i changed all occurrences of varchar(MAX) to ntext so for example:

[SettingValue] [nvarchar](max) NULL

becomes

[SettingValue] [ntext] NULL

i also changed

[Settings] [varbinary](max) NOT NULL

to

[Settings] [varbinary](8000) NOT NULL

in addition to this after the create statement for each table i removed the statement beginning with "with"

for example:

)WITH (PAD_INDEX  = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE  = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS  = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS  = ON) ON [PRIMARY]

becomes just

)

I repeated this for all tables and it seems to be working. I'm certainly no expert so if anyone has a better approach please chime in

I've updated the scripts for MS SQL 2000, you can get them here.
