BE.NET and Mono, Error displaying a post

Aug 4, 2008 at 9:49 PM

I have installed BE1.4.5 on a Apache+mod_mono in my linux box. I have set the appropriate permissions in App_Data directory. The blog page appears fine. But i click on a post permalink, i get a "Object not found" error. The link is http://blogroot/post/Welcome-to-BlogEngineNET-1-4.aspx..if i create the "post" directory in blogroot then i get the post but the page doesn't show theme markups. Same issue is there with "author" links as well.

I am using MonoAutoApplication enabled in my httpd.conf. And using mod_mono_server2.

I am new to apache+mono. I think the Url rewrite stuff is not working. Am I missing some important configuration? Please help.

Is it an Apache page not found or an ASP.NET Page Not found??

Same here -- mono 1.9.1 + fastcgi provider , looks like CSS is messed.
I think this is something about case sencitivity. I'll try to find out what happens.

Ok, I am not familiar with apache, but In IIS there is a setting to make sure a page exists.  If it does not exist, then IIS throws a 404 error without every even passing the request off to ASP.NET,  For example, when you go to

You may have a similar setting in Apache that needs to be changed.
