In my blog I want three tabs:

  • Tech,
  • Life, and
  • Thoughts

Can BlogEngine categorize posts and pages based on the Tab selected?

You could add tabs or any type of menu item to the site.master file in your theme directory.  e.g. /themes/Standard/site.master.  This site.master file controls the main site layout.  The tabs or menu items would be links.  The links can point to URLs on your blog that display Posts tied to that category.  For example, the following URL lists all the posts tied to the "Gallery" category.

I want Tabs to be displayed on top where other Navigation items appear.

Have a look in the theme section of the BE gallery at the ChannelPro and ArthemiaPro themes.

Both of these themes provide page and category navigation and are displayed topside.
