Hello everyone!

When we make new posts, we typically copy our live chat transcript over (plain text) and paste it into the new post, then submit it.

It USED  to automagically link the URL and it was great.

Now, it is not, it is only putting the URL in as txt.

Is there something we can do to auto link all urls?

You can see the site/install here:

This is getting annoying, sometimes, we have 5-10 links per chat and it is a pain to manually link each one.

We're running

Thanks in advance,

Not sure what you used before but there is ResolveLinks.cs built-in extension that does this for comments. It can be modified  do the same for posts just by adding post serving event:

Post.Serving += PostCommentServing;

But I'm not sure how it will handle existing links that already have anchors added, may not work well or require modification.

You would need to modify /app_code/extensions/ResolveLinks.cs by adding after:

Comment.Serving += PostCommentServing;

this line:

Post.Serving += PostCommentServing;

Then extension will fire for both comments and posts.
