How to add JavaScripts to BE

I have BE 2.6, and within the /Scripts all of the .js files are prefixed with a number:
02-jquery.cookie.js
04-jquery-jtemplates.js

I need to add 2 new scripts.

Do I simply rename the scripts and preifx it with a number, and then drop it into the scripts folder? Im not clear how these scripts are being referenced.

If someone could clue me in, I would appreciate it.

Any scripts withing /Scripts added to the page in alphabetical order.
Numbers are to make sure they loaded in the right order when scripts depend on each other.

Thank you- so I can just manually rename the file to whatever number is relevent to the order?

for example actual.js comes before contact.js
32-actual.js
33-contact.js
