I am trying to Upgrade from BE 2.8 to BE 2.9 but I get this error
Compilation Error

Source Error:

Line 263: {
Line 264: string avatarImageTag = Avatar.GetAvatarImageTag(size, comment.Email, comment.Website, comment.Avatar, comment.Author);
Line 265: return GetFirstImageSource(avatarImageTag, false);

Any ideas why?

Just delete the App_Code\JQ-Mobile directory and all it's contents. Taking a look at the official release for 2.9 it does not contain that directory anymore. The upgrade tool should really be removing this directory automatically to avoid this error, for now just manually delete it.
