A New True "What you see is what you get editor"

Hi All,

I had recently came across an text editor that I had never heard of or seen before:

Just working with it in the demos and on my own experiments it seems to be a very good editor!

It lets you edit your content live on your actual page and not inside of an textbox "editor".

So the need for a "Preview" is not needed, and by default it auto-saves when you leave the editing area, so no need for an Save button.

It can also be set-up to edit any part of your website, Title, Slider Slides, Side widgets, Header, Footer, and etc.

This shows the multiple area editing in action:

Thinking this would be great if some how this can be added into BE.

No longer do you have to go to Settings--> General and edit your Description, Site Name and etc.

No longer have to go to Content --> Post

Content --> Page

To add new content, You just go to your page when you are logged in and edit it!

Just posting this as a FYI and to see if anyone else finds this useful :)

And also if it is possible to include this into BE.

Have a great day!

Looks nice, but it has to be optional. Lots of people don't like editable sites and prefer clean separation content and editing. I guess I am one of them, even seen widget editing controls in content makes me angry :)

Hi Rtur,

Yes, I was thinking along the lines of being optional.

Just wanted to spread the word and see if anyone else would like to use it.

I am also one of those that don't like seeing editing controls in the content :)

So in my experiments with a stand alone website I made the editing parts not show anything, does no highlighting.

Just when you click on content you then see the content editing bar which you can move around if you like and also edit your content.
