Embedding blogengine into an existing site

I am trying to set up Blogengine into our site, and running into some problems with the web config.

My site has its own web.config entries and when I try to access the blog via http://localhost/blog I end up gettting errors that it can't find entries with in my web.config, but if I do http://localhost I don't get the errors. Is this a case that I need to pull the web.config entries from blog into my site web.config or is there a better way of doing this. I am trying to avoid using a subdomain to access the blog, so any help on this would be appreciated.

If you're putting all the BE content into a sub-folder (blog), then the easiest way to set it up is to mark the blog folder as an application in IIS.

After doing that, if you're still getting errors, posting those errors here would be helpful.
