RSS Feed and Extensions?

Hi.  Where might I modify the code to allow an RSS feed to parse extensions that may be installed?  For example, I have YouTube and Vimeo Video extensions that I wrote...but when I put them in a post, they don't show up in the RSS feed.  Well, they do show up, but all you see is something to the effect of:

...instead of the actual video.

Any ideas how to get the RSS feeds to parse an extension?  I'd like to get my Tweetmeme button in there as well...

Thanks for any thoughts!

Hi Al,

Your request is to parse with an extensions...

You could even use for youtube the embedding code from youtube...this parse the RSS.. instead of [youtube:blahblah]

But I believe this is not the real answer for your question...

Thanks for the response, hermsen.

I realize that if I manually put in the embedding code, it will show up in the feeds.  However, as you surmised, this doesn't really help my situation and defeats the purpose of having a dynamic extension build the embedding code automatically.

Hopefully there's a fairly easy way to teach the RSS code to process extensions...

Anyone have any ideas on this?
