Enabling reCaptcha (BlogEngine 1.6.1)

1. Get reCaptcha account

First you need to get free account at reCaptcha home page (http://recaptcha.net/). With account comes application key you'll need to use in the next steps.

2. Navigate to extensions list

Log in as admin and navigate to extensions list. Click "edit" link to get to extension settings page.

3. Edit settings

On extension settings page, enter your application keys you got in step 1. Check the box if you want reCaptcha show also for authenticated users and select theme if you don't like default one. Save settings.

4. Enable reCaptcha extension

Go back to extensions list and click "disabled" link to enable extension. After application recycles, you should see reCaptcha control added to your comments form.

I am using 2.6.0.5 and enabled the reCaptcha on comments, but I am getting error : There was an error in the callback. But it works for Authenticated users only.

I'm using this control. but it disappear after postback, I don't know why, pleas help

try turning off reCAPTCHA logging by setting to zero had the same issue and doing this helped

I've tried updating to 1.6.1 and enable the reCAPTCHA on comments, but i get this error: There was an error in the callback
